gwen wieczorek is a visual artist from germany. she works as a costume and stage designer, mostly for theater productions. she is one of the co-founders of don’t get me collective, where she works as art director, textile artist and experimental fashion designer.

she is interested in in a holistic approach that surpasses the limitations of theater, dance and performance, placing significant emphasis on the visual aspect. she’s inspired by human nature, individual perspectives and the earthly and alien community in the anthropocene.

since 2020, her work has been strongly influenced by sustainability. her approach is to creatively design costume and stage sets using sustainable and innovative techniques. her goal is to reimagine and refine the aesthetics of sustainability, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
